Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat 2021 was wonderful! Thank you to all volunteers and all who participated.

More than 100 costumed children with parents attended the fourth annual Fall Festival / Trunk or Treat event. It gets better every year thanks to the organizing efforts of Erin Popek and the support of the FB family and friends. We had ten trunks decorated and handing out goodies. We had a drive in theater, scary spider, Noah’s Ark, nursery rhymes, and more. We had games and prizes on the lawn run by a group of teenagers. Thank you!!

If you are thinking about next year 2022 here is some information about the even and the volunteer opportunity.

Please sign up to decorate your car and be a part of this yearly tradition. To do so please email Erin at

This free event will have games, prizes, activities along with trunk or treating and a costume competition. The costume competition will take place.

Additionally, we are looking for some volunteers to help with the Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat event that will be held at the First Baptist Church of East Aurora. This opportunity is perfect for high school honor society members (or prospects) seeking service hours, or high school kids who enjoy volunteer work! (this opportunity comes with at least 5 service hours!)

-We ask that you join us for a mandatory planning meeting/pizza party, where you will be assigned a specific duty (most will be assigned a specific children’s game, such as corn hole or red light green light, musical chairs, etc. and will be asked to hand out prizes, etc.) To sign up for this please also email Erin at
